Contact your insurance company to determine coverage. Click on the "contact insurance" link above to learn more about getting treatments covered by insurance.

A Huntsville Behavior Associates representative will request an authorization; However, some insurance agencies require that caregivers make the request. If so, click on the "request authorization" link above for more information on requesting authorization for services.

Disclaimer: Commercial insurance policies will usually only cover ABA therapy if a child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. While children without an ASD diagnosis may benefit from ABA therapy, insurance will not pay for treatment. However, some families have successfully won appeals for other diagnoses, but this is not common. ​

Once an appointment is set, fill out the intake form (under the forms tab).

During the free, 1-hour intake session, a BCBA will spend time getting to know your child and learning about your concerns.

6.

After the in-take session, a BCBA will give a recommendation for next steps.
